FAQ

What are the types of contributions welcomed by AGU?

AGU accepts Sadaqah/donations as well as Zakat.

How can I be ensured that my Zakat is being utilized in the correct place, such that my responsibility is fulfilled?

At AGU, we follow the model of Wakalah. This means that the institute plays the role of a Wakeel, accepting Zakah on behalf of its zakat-eligible recipients (the AGU students). When a person gives Zakat at AGU is received in favor of the zakat-eligible recipient, thereby delivering Zakat in its due place. Our Zakat procedure and its application is closely supervised by Muftis and Scholars of the field. We believe it would suffice as assurance.

What is the method to transfer Sadaqah or Zaka’at to the institution?

You can transfer your zaka’at and donations to  Al-Ghazali through the following account.
